bought this headphone for clearance pricetested it right away on subway ride, and heard the instant noise cancelling effect, the roaring noise is blocked out, but you may feel some pressure in your head because of noise cancellingthis has a dongle, which has battery box and electronic circuit, and, if you use AT&T and T-Mobile, make sure your phone stays away from this battery box, because the box is prone to interference, and it's very loudit's not foldable makes it a bit less conveientno matter these shortcomings, the decent noise cancelling effect well worth the price
With these headphones I could hear everything except whispers. I bought these headphones so I could watch my dvds on the plane from Nashville to LA. Last plane trip I couldn't hear any of the dialog with my earbuds. After getting the size adjusted, these were pretty comfortable. I am buying another pair for my daughter for our next long plane trip.
They are sturdier than some all plastic headphones with a very thin metal band securing the curves. They seal well too.
I would have liked more bass but didn't notice any improvement with another brand name headphone I tried in the same price range. The headphones have clear sound and I could hear notes throughout the range.
The earpieces are comfortable for my average size ears. I wear these when running and wasn't bothered by the noise cancelling attachment that some others noted.
The attachment clipps comfortably to my shorts, is light enough to clip to my shirt, and long enough to clip to my messenger bag while walking. I could turn them up on the train without nearby commuters hearing them like they can with earbuds.
I am more particular than average about having quality sound and I would buy them again.
Delivery is so fast,and the earphone is good, but one thing i should mention is that there is no box to carry the earphone, so it is not as convinent as PXC 300 or 250.
These headphones sound great and the noise cancelling works well. If you are expecting headphones that will eliminate all the noise on a plane trip, for example, then these headphones will not do that. For that you really need the big, cushioned headphones that completely cover your ears. I like these because they cut the low drone of the plane's engines and ventilation system and reduce other cabin noises and let you clearly listen to the inflight movies or to music without completely cutting you off to what's going on around you.
